Thank You Hollywood?

BillboardB.jpg

I couldn't help but chuckle a little bit when I saw this one. Seems as though citizensunited.org are putting together a billboard blitz across California thanking Hollywood for their role in helping GWB get back into the White House. Points to ponder, folks, points to ponder.

i'm sending this one to my mum - she'll love it! you know how the story goes: southern republican with large amounts of both patriotism and dislike for "liberal hollywood stars."

=)

I particularly love that scowl by Mikey on the top right. You know what bugs me? Whether or not you agree with Bush, Sunday's Iraqi vote was a historic first step towards democracy in the Middle East. MoveOn.org mentioned NOTHING about it and MichaelMoore.com's headline was "British Troops Killed in Plane Crash Near Baghdad" in large letters atop this subhead: "US Predicts More Violence After 'Great Day'"

*SIGH*

31 January 20053. Angela's Mom:

You may not like what I say....

BUT

All of the above pictured people should be ashamed of themselves!! Because they live in this country, they have the freedom to speak their mind.

Just imagine where they would be if they lived in Irag under their ex-president.

Hack hack stab stab and more.

GOD BLESS AMERICA, GEORGE W. BUSH - PRESIDENT!! AND ALL OF OUR TROUPS FIGHTING AND DYING FOR
YOU, MY CHILDREN, AND above mentioned creeps (where's a good burka when you need one...ugly).

I have the same freedom and I'm proud to be an American.

Angela got it right!!

And I thought Angela had fire! ;-) Preach it!

1 February 20055. amt:

from whom do you think i got said fire? no doubt now. =)

8 February 20056. xpressionccr:

You guys know that I am not han-in-hand with dear-ol-dubya, but I agree with you Jesse, to not see the valour, in the events of the elections in Iraq is simply childish. Whether it be Bush or The afore mentioned webhosts, I disdain the inability to find and point out the positives in the actions or results of those with whom you disagree. It is like grade-school. Admit your faults. Admit your contenders strengths...otherwise...what are we going to accomplish?

However...after Angela's mom's little rant there, I think I am going to go and buy myself a burka to hide under. eek! ;)

8 February 20057. JDG:

Mother's make the best politicians, I think.
