An Apple A Day

The road to my free iPod has not been easy. The fine folk at freeiPods.com have decided that three of my five referrers are invalid under the auspices of "fraudulent activity"; I suppose that because I signed three people up on one computer, the duplicate IP address won out over the unique names, credit card numbers and shipping addresses.

But I'm still hungry for an Apple. The release of the sleek new iPod shuffle (think iPod mini MINI) and Apple's firewire based Asteroid, with two XLR/TRS audio inputs, two RCA outputs, and a headphone jack, ensures domination of the audio market. And with the enormous turnout of evangelical Christians for the 2004 vote, they've even released a Billy Graham Special Edition iPod. *wink*

And if dominating the sound waves wasn't enough, Apple's newest contender in the economy PC category--the six inch square, two inch deep $499 MacMini--promises to dangle the apple in front of a much broader audience.

For more juicy news and rumors, check out www.thinksecret.com--they are currently being sued by Apple for revealing too much, so, as you might imagine, it's a good read.
