The Soundtrack of My Life

Here's a cool idea I snagged from Chris:

If your life was a movie, what would your soundtrack be?

Here's how it works:
1. Open your music library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie.

(I linked the song titles to iTunes so you could get a better feel for them)

OPENING CREDITS: I Ran by Flock of Seagulls

WAKING UP: Leaving on a Jet Plane by Peter, Paul and Mary

FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL: Lonely Road by Fernando Ortega

FALLING IN LOVE: Laura by Nana Mouskouri (oh my word, the name of the cd this song is on? Falling In Love... imagine the odds)

FIGHT SONG: Pictures at an Exhibition: Promenade by Maurice Ravel, performed by the Berliner Philharmonic (wussy fight song)

BREAKING UP: Hiccup by Of Montreal (sorry, it's not on iTunes)

PROM: I Need You by Ultrabeat (ditto)

LIFE: Still Called Today by Steven Curtis Chapman

MENTAL BREAKDOWN: I See You by Michael W. Smith (can't stand this song)

DRIVING: Untitled by DJ Olis (perfect)

FLASHBACK: Out of my Hands by Saved (oh, too perfect)

WEDDING: The Song of the Cebu by Veggie Tales (?!?!?!)

BIRTH OF A CHILD: Strong Badia Anthem by Strong Bad, the Cheat and Mrs. Partsmatter's 1st Grade Class (what the ?)

FINAL BATTLE: Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap (interesting)

DEATH SCENE: Fable (Dream Version) by Robert Miles (oh yeah)

FUNERAL SONG: Symphony No. 5 in C sharp minor Adagietto by Gustav Mahler, performed by Leonard Bernstein and the New York Orchestra (nice)

END CREDIT: Gravity by Vienna Teng (certainly typical end credit music...)

I skipped Christmas songs, but I think that's kosher. Interesting, that's for sure.
