Painting 101

For Christmas, Jessica got me acrylic paints. So last night I tried my hand at painting for the first time.

Jessica's Modern Art

Jessica gave up on mountains and pursued modern art.

Teasdale's Stars

I touched it up just a little in Photoshop (the moon and the fog).

UPDATE: Ok, some of you are complaining about the Photoshop work, so I've uploaded the raw original so you can see the difference. Hope your happy!

Well, I touched it up a little, mostly because the scanner never takes kindly to paintings. The only big difference is the blue gradient for the sky. I did it with paint but it dried really dark and the scanner didn't pick up anything but black. That and I got a little carried away with the toothbrush and the stars!
