Snapshots From A Dream Half-remembered

Black and White Photography: NYC Through a Pinhole, Part I -

A beautiful glimpse into the artistic prowess of R. Gardiner (no relation). His photographs of New York City are both stunning and pensive, capturing a unique metropolitan energy with his dramatic tones, his unusual angles and his flawless sense of symmetry and balance. So many of his shots are familiar scenes, but the stark contrast and emotions captured within transform these pictures into snapshots from a dream half-remembered.
