Brace yourself. Cute overload.
We did the "not-quite-ready-to-have-kids" thing and got a cat from the local shelter.
She's adorable. She has ADD. She is a high-energy nuzzler. She gallops and her legs are bowed like John Wayne's. We call her Antigone.
