She's A Great Cook, It's Just...

My wife is a fantastic cook. In fact, her recipe website is getting almost as much traffic as my blog. And her food is to die for. What I find absolutely hilarious, though, is that the #1 keyword people are typing to find her site is cornbread:

Why is that funny? Because of all the great things she makes, cornbread is not one of them. Any suggestions would be appreciated: jessica [at] plasticmind [dot] com

Now I’m going to go hide.

We typically just get the boxes of Jiffy cornbread mix. ha ha!

19 November 20072. LaRosa Johnson:

Wow, I can't believe you just called out your wife like that. I'd be a dead man walking if i did something like that on my blog (not that my wife reads it anyway).

And that, my friend, is why I'm safe. She never reads my blog.

20 November 20074. John Stansbury:

While not making a value judgment to the authenticity of your not-great-cornbread, it seems Google is sending people thataway to find them some moist cornbread:

Keywords in text + keywords in post + relevant content = mad blog hits.

(Full disclosure, I'm into cornbread whether warm and moist or brick-like in moistness. I heart bread.)
