Whoa... Baby!

Well, those of you savvy enough to follow my Twitter notifications caught my premature notification last week that mysteriously vanished; but now I can officially say it out loud.
We’re having a baby!
He/she/it is due in August and I’ve got $20 says it’s twins. Jessica, of course, begs to differ. And (as if I need to tell you) I’ll certainly be keeping everyone up to speed with the progress. Yeehaw!
Name suggestions?

Congratulations! That's great news, and I'm sure the grandparents are excited. I vote for "Bob" and "Larry." Or "Moe" and "Curly."
4 January 20084. Luann:
Personally, I'd go for Sean and Shannon....
Congrats to both of you!! Can we all get in on the 20 bucks?
4 January 20085. Mike:
Congratulations to you both!
What a blessing!
As for names, I have always thought that if Dawn and I were to have a child (or children) that we would honor our parents/grandparents by naming the kids after them.
So - I am assuming that both Moms and Dads are elated with the news!!!

Fantastic; congratulations!
Names? How about Jules and Verne (thinking of Back to the Future...), or Julius and Vincent (thinking of Twins...)?

Hip, Hip Hooray!
Fabulous news, my friend.
I have no name suggestions. Sorry. :)
5 January 20089. Sara:
We're both so excited for you!
As for names, here's my piece of advice, for what it's worth:
If you want to be original by naming your child after, oh, let's say, one of your great-grandmothers, thinking that there are few other people named that... check out the name rankings FIRST!
(Who knew Sophia would be the #1 girl name for 2007????)

How about Mephibosheth for a boy?
I think we need more Mephibosheths in this world!

Thanks everyone for the kind words and well wishes. Both sets of grandparents are really excited, as are the new uncles and aunts. I can't tell you how long I've looked forward to foisting my oddity on the world in the form of a child. Here's to posterity!
