Vive le poesie!
While going through some of my grandmother's belongings after she passed away, I discovered a bank ledger book with dates as far back as 1842 in it. On almost every frail page in exquisite penmanship is an original poem written by my great grandmother. She has even marked some of them as songs - unfortunately no music is provided. So I thought for the sake of her legacy I'd type them up and put them on my blog a little at a time. You can find them easily by clicking on the "Great Grandmother's Poetry" category on the right side of the screen. Vive le poesie!
