ready for a new year
first day of marriage counseling. nothing new and amazing except that consistently fresh love that keeps pouring from the girl. i ordered way too many french fries at dinner and tried to bring them home. she protested.
ready for the new year, but in so many ways not. childhood raced by and i'm at that point where i've waved long enough at the horizon. bring on the new. will i mangle the fresh starts in all the ways i did before? scares me sometimes. but its a new day, a new dollar, a new chance to make new change. at the end of the day will i still only have these same stale two cents to throw down?
YourThoughts?
